We went swimming for the first time on my birthday. It was a beautiful afternoon! The water was still cool (not cold, and not like bath water either). We all had a relaxing afternoon! We ate hamburgers, baked beans, potato salad, deviled eggs, etc and homemade ice cream. We were laughing so hard at the kids eating their ice cream. Kylie had a hard time keeping it in her mouth! Gavin finally just tipped his bowl up to his mouth and drank his. Landon ended up with a "mustache" by the time he was done!

Kylie recital
Kylie's dance recital was June 7. She did a ballet dance and a tap dance. I took pictures during dress rehearsal but none of them are all that great. I am taking her to take pictures sometime soon so I'll post her in her costumes then. We took the boys this year (the first time). They were ok... They each got tired and hungry at the end. Landon actually watched the dances and Gavin did some of them. She did great and she convinced me to let her take summer dance class.

Branson
We took a mini trip to Branson on June 1...yes, I am THAT behind! We really didn't go for any reason other than to shop and let the kids see the fountain show at Branson Landing. Yes, that is a long drive just to see some water but we all needed a change from our living room!
Kylie taught the boys to make a wish when you throw change into a fountain. They didn't understand but had a blast throwing the pennies into the water.
We ate at Joe's Crab Shack for lunch and Olive Garden for dinner. Kylie is obsessed with Joe's. We ate there twice when we were in Shreveport for a cheer competition. She LOVES crab! She is an expensive child :).
It was nice to get away, even for just a day!
