What a day Easter was this year! We got up early and started in on 5 people getting baths/showers (well, actually 4...the boys take a bath together). We thought we were good on time...then all of a sudden it was 10:00 and I had a towel wrapped around wet hair, Kylie's hair was 1/2 straight (this is a long process) and JD hadn't had a shower at all. We normally leave for church around 10:30 or so...we knew we needed to get in high gear!

This week has brought several inches of rain to our area. The rivers across Arkansas have been flooding. It is always nervewracking when flooding is in the forcast. We have a creek in our back yard and our yard usually ends up with leaves, branches and trash in it when the creek overflows. Most of the rain we got this week came either at night or while we were at work so I didn't get a picture of our "flood". Here is a picture from this past summer when the creek overflowed.

Today we had an Easter Egg Hunt. It was at a local park. The weather was beautiful...not too hot and not too cold...we all had a great time! The kids played on the playground and we had a picnic. It was a great day!

I am borrowing this from a friend of mine's blog...It's called Friday's Feast. Every Friday, new questions are posted...I can't gurantee that I'll do it every week, but here is a start~
Appetizer
On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 as highest), how much do you like your own handwriting?
An 8. Especially if I am taking my time. If I am writing in a hurry it is a mixture of print and cursive and not very neat.
Soup
Do you prefer baths or showers?
Showers. I am not a bath person. I can't remember the last time I took a bath. They are too time consuming, the water gets cold too fast, and it is icky to me to sit where people's feet have been. Now I might be more open to baths if I had a seperate shower.
Salad
What was the last bad movie you watched?
Hmmm...what is considered a bad movie?? The last two I fell asleep within the first 30 mintues. Does that mean they were bad? Oh wait...I fall asleep during almost every movie I try and watch after 7:00. I have a hard time saying that a movie was bad. I say the ending was bad or the music didn't go well or different actors would have been better.
Main Course
Name something you are addicted to and describe how it affects your life.
Addicted is a strong word. I do not think that I am addicted to anything. I am "strongly attached" to reality television...American Idol, Big Brother, The Hills, etc. I don't have time to watch it often but I always read up on what happened. I don't think it affects my life much at all.
Dessert
Which instrument is your favorite to listen to?
Hmmm...I think the harp is relaxing. And I like the piano.

Kylie has been complaining all winter that we haven't had any snow. She mentioned it again while we were at Petit Jean Mountain on Saturday (I had the camera, just not the battery). I was laughing because it was like 75 degrees...a beautiful day. Why was she thinking about snow? Even when I heard the weather forcast that called for drastically dropping temperatures Monday afternoon and a chance for winter weather I thought "whatever". Well, much to my surprise...and Kylie's...we did get some snow overnight...and more this morning. Here are some pictures of the kids playing out in the snow.

The back yard
Kylie and Landon were ready to go even before breakfast!
They had the best time and cried when it was time to go back inside (of course)
Baby footprints...
The three amigos...
