I am aware that it has been way too long since my last post. I can't seem to find the time to download pictures and organize them so I am hoping to make several posts tonight.
The whole family traveled to Tulsa for a cheer competition. Now, this was a few days after our state was hit with an ice storm. We escaped any ice and didn't have to miss school (which I am STILL bummed about) but we were a little concerned with the road conditions in western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma. We made it there safe and sound (late but safe) and that is when a series of small disasters struck...
1. We quickly discovered that we left an entire suitcase at home. It happened to be the one that was packed with all of the boys clothes and shoes. So, JD raced to find a Wal-Mart at midnight and came back with some pants that were a tad big but managable.
2. We finally arrive at the arena only to discover a horrible setup. All the spectator seating was up high and Landon was scared. We had to climb several flights of stairs. Not great with two three year olds.
3. Of course, the boys needed a bathroom break soon after arrival at the arena. Long story short (and in Landon's words)...ONE piece went in the potty and it plushed and now its gone! In other words...one of Landon's lenses fell into the toilet. It was an automatic flusher and whoosh...away went the lens.
We managed to make it home with no more mishaps (and Kylie's squad got first place).

Cruise- Day 5-8
WOW...I would recommend a Disney cruise to anyone! We had so much fun! I wish it was longer. We have decided that we are going on a 7 day Disney cruise in the next few years and then go back to Disney when the boys are older and can enjoy it. It was relaxing, entertaining...just wonderful! I would go back in a minute!!

Hollywood Studios- Day 4
Our last day at the parks we went to Hollywood Studios. They have a new 4-D ride, Toy Story Mania, that was so much fun! It was a good ending to the first part of our vacation because we were tired and this park was more relaxed than...oh...Magic Kingdom. We ate at a WONDERFUL Italian place there for dinner.
It was a little sad going back to the lodge knowing it was our last night. We ended up doing some laundry and re-packing.

Epcot-Day 3
I know, I know...we have been back from vacation for a month now but it has been a busy month! My plan is to finish posting vacation pictures and then post what we have been up to lately...
We went to Epcot on Day 3. I was looking forward to the World Showcase. I thought Kylie would enjoy "visiting" several different countries (and she did!). We did ride rides but spent most of our time in World Showcase. We were exhausted and turned in earlier than the previous two nights.

Magic Kingdom- Day Two
We were excited to take Kylie to the Magic Kingdom. She knew that we were going to different parks but when you think of Disney...Magic Kingdom comes to mind. She was SO enthralled with it all. Again, some Christmas decorations were still up. We went on the classics...It's A Small World, the Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean (with no wait!)...Kylie did not want to ride Space Mountain and Splash Mountain was closed for cleaning. We really enjoyed watching the parade with all the characters. The park was open later that night and then fireworks ended the day. Being there brought back so many childhood memories for me. I spent 10 years worth of summers in Florida with my grandparens and a trip to Disney was one of our regular outings.

Animal Kingdom- Day 1
The first day of our vacation was spent at Animal Kingdom. We stayed there and it was amazing! So cool to wake up and look out the window and see animals. The park was fun and a good start to our week. We went first thing to the safari. JD did an awesome job at taking pictures of the animals. We saw the Finding Nemo show and the Festival of the Lion King show. There were not a lot of thrill rides there but we did ride Expedition Everest. I am not a roller coaster person and I liked it (although I had my eyes closed through most of it). Kylie had her first experience meeting Disney characters and getting autographs. That was an experience...waiting in line...but it was worth it for her. Even though we were there in January, all the Christmas trees were still up.
