First Outside Fire

We had our first outside fire a few weekends ago (yes, I am THAT far behind). It was a fairly warm night but it was good because the kids enjoyed it without any complaining that they were cold.

We cooked hot dogs and smores. It was interesting...the boys had never eaten smores before and they weren't too thrilled with the texture of the melted marshmallow.

Throw in a few shrieks from Kylie because Gavin kept catching his marshmallow on fire and she accidentally let her marshmallow slide off the fork thing into the fire...

We had fun and the smell of campfire brought back so many memories from when I was a kid. Camping was a favorite activity of my family.
